Our History
Building Our Legacy
Techniquip was formed in 2024 through the strategic merger of Technicore Underground Corp, a renowned heavy-equipment operator and manufacturer and seller of tunnel and mining equipment. Absolute Fluid Power, a full-spectrum equipment maintenance and experts in hydraulic systems. By uniting Technicore’s 33 years of manufacturing,excavation, grading, specialized heavy equipment sales with Absolute’s award-winning preventative maintenance programs, parts distribution network, and on-site support teams, Techniquip is uniquely positioned to deliver and service SANY heavy equipment in Ontario.
Technicore, founded by Tony DiMillo in 1993, built its reputation on large-scale site preparation, earthworks, and specialty lift projects serving mining, civil, and industrial sectors. In 2008, Absolute Fluid Power was established and quickly gained momentum by offering 24/7 field-service crews, stocking OEM parts, and providing digital asset-management tools that helped customers maximize uptime and better control their operating costs.

We offer end-to-end maintenance and support through a combination of in-house technicians, mobile service units, and strategically located regional parts depots. This integrated approach ensures rapid turnaround times and minimizes equipment downtime for our clients.
